An example of spam detected by WikiTrust.  By highlighting the recent, unrevised change, WikiTrust is able to alert readers to both grammatical errors ("then" instead of "than") and inappropriate expressions ("the losers").  Note that due to limitations in the technology, WikiTrust highlights the whole sentence, rather than just the specific errors.  The main WikiTrust developers include Luca de Alfaro (of Italian origin, but unrelated to the above change), Bo Adler, and Ian Pye.

From the page "Politics of Denmark".  The real last name of the Danish Prime Minister is "Fogh"; "Fjogh" is a play of "Fogh" and "Fjog", a Danish word for "fool".  WikiTrust makes it easy to spot the problem; would you have noticed it otherwise?

The algorithms used by WikiTrust can be applied to all languages, and are based on consensus, not word-spotting or semantic analysis.
In this example, WikiTrust correctly focuses on the spam, highlighted in orange, rather than on the cheerleaders' chant.

Some are naturals on the beach, others in outer space, but WikiTrust zeroes in on out-of-place remarks.

Opinions on Regan's legacy may differ, but WikiTrust has no trouble locating the vandalism.
